VOR bearing display on MFD

Hello, when using a VOR station for navigation, I have noticed the bearing displayed in top right corner of the MFD is wrong. No matter what, it shows [my current heading + 90 degrees]. The distance readout seems to be working fine, and the VOR identifier is correctly displayed as well. When following a flight plan, the bearing value to the next WP is displayed correctly.

Also, is there no way to enable a bearing needle pointing towards the selected nav aid on the HSI, or am I just too dumb to find it? Because it seems like a rather useful instrument for navigation.

    Thanks in advance!

    1. The bearing needle is rotated using the Course selector on the autopilot panel (when nav mode is NAV1, NAV2 or TACAN).

The VOR Bearing display is correct, displays bearing from aircraft to navaid regardless of current aircraft heading/track.

Ah you're right, I tried to replicate it right now and it totally worked, I also had a green arrow pointing directly towards the VOR (that's what I meant with the bearing needle). But I could swear it didn't work for me before.

So sorry for the inconvenience, as it seems I cannot replicate it consistently. Anyway, I will keep an eye out and let you know if it ever pops up again.
