MV-22B MSFS2024 Native Version – FLIR Terrain Display Regression & Engine Spawn Issue

    Dear Miltech Team,

First of all, thank you for your continued work and support.

I recently upgraded the MV-22B to the MSFS2024 native version. However, aside from the improvement to the MFD/PFD shaking issue, I have not been able to identify any meaningful upgrades or enhancements compared to the 2020 version.

I would like to report what I believe is a significant regression:

The FLIR 3D terrain display on the MFD appears to have been noticeably downgraded in both detail level and resolution compared to the 2020 version. While it is not entirely flat, it now has very limited terrain definition and significantly fewer visible edges, making it appear close to a 2D representation. The terrain detail is so reduced that interpreting landforms becomes extremely difficult.

This substantially reduces night operational capability and, in its current state, cannot be considered practically usable for tactical low-level flight. Terrain awareness is critical to the aircraft’s intended operational role, so I believe this area requires urgent improvement.

    Additionally, there is another issue:
When spawning on a runway in a “Ready for Takeoff” state, the engines appear to already be in the process of shutting down rather than stabilized in an operational condition.

I sincerely hope these issues can be addressed in a future update.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
