Screen Tearing
I just installed 'Super Carriers' in MSFS 2024 and love it. Except I'm experiencing what I can only describe as screen tearing when I get close to a carrier group. And this doesn't seem to happen when I'm not close to any carrier groups.
I'm trying all the things one does in this case, but other than uninstalling the add-on, has anyone else experienced this and fixed it? What I'm seeing is like many 'lines' shooting across my view in different directions. I'm flying in VR, on a PC, with a Quest 3, but the screen tearing, or whatever it is, is also evident on my computer monitor.

Now that we can download 2024 to our PCs, I did so, then re-installed Super Carriers only to have the same result. It's the only add on that causes these lines shooting across my field of view. And it begins whenever I get within a mile or so away from a carrier group.
Anyone have any ideas what is causing this?

It seems to be due a missing effect (either wake effect or arrestor cable effect) on your simulator installation. We have only had one or two cases of this issue being reported and have been unable to find the exact root cause. May be a streaming issue on FS24.
Does it happen 100% of times you load into the aircraft?

Thanks for the reply.
No, it doesn't happen right after I spawn into an aircraft. And after taking off I fly to where the carrier group is and everything is fine until right after I sight the ships. Then the problems begins. I called it 'screen tearing' for lack of a better description. It's simply very thin lines shooting around my view in all directions. Other than that, if I fool myself into thinking it's rain (it's not) the add on works okay. Except for one other thing. Once I've trapped on deck and begin taxiing my aircraft jumps up and down on the deck like it's possessed.
As for it being a streaming issue, maybe, but I've downloaded everything now that we can do that. If there are missing effects, how do I remedy that?
