Problems spawning on supercarrier

    Hello,

I have problem spawning on the supercarrier in MSFS2024 on PC (tested with the MH-60 and the Heatblur F-14)

The only thing that works is when starting a Freeflight, and selecting a **static ** supercarrier as "Set as Departure".
If I select a moving carrier instead, the aircraft spawn beside the carrier and instantly crashes in the sea.

I also have Mission Hub, which in theory allows to spawn on a supercarrier at the start of the mission. Unfoprtunately, for me, its only in theory, it never works in practice.
If I use Mission Hub, creating a basic mission with only one carrier and checking the "spawn on carrier" box, the aircraft crashes in the sea as well, for both static and moving carriers. With a static carrier the aircraft falls through the carrier...
This happens with and without an extra spawn event for the aircraft.

What am I doing wrong? How to spawn on a moving carrier in FreeFlight, and spawn an aircraft on a static/moving carrier in MissionHub?

    Thanks, cheers

    1. This may happen at times. The carriers are programmed to automatically teleport you to the carrier deck, however, this is unfortunately not 100% consistent in 2024, particularly if the carrier is being streamed (since loading of code and assets is asynchronous, so it may not execute in correct succession).

This is one of the reasons why it is mandatory to have Crash Detection turned off to use Supercarrier Pro. After you have started the flight in the water, you can use the toolbar to teleport you to the carrier deck.

MSFS is unfortunately not designed for ships, so these are some of the workarounds we've to create to make ships functional.
