AP not following VOR

Hello there, today I was trying to follow a TACAN (SPA 115.7), the aircraft detected it (see picture bellow)

    AP CPLD / VOR/ILS 1 CAP

But the aircraft was not flying toward it at all...

However I noticed that the aircraft was following the HDG knob and not the set VOR.

Am I doing something wrong here ?
I know it's a TACAN but i've tried with a VOR and it does the same.

    1. I'm unable to replicate this issue. Could it be a one-off? If you disengage and re-engage the AP does it work?

I was able to switch from VOR to HDG to VOR and the aircraft reacts as expected

      1. Also, make sure you have the latest update installed (v1.0.4)

            Latest build installed unfortunately :/
Here's what I did basically; started cold and dark on an airport, started the aircraft, got up in the air, ALT AP on, altitude set to 5000, input the VOR freq (VOR1), engage ENAV + CAP1 + AP, and it starts following the HDG bug, if I disable ENAV it's the same.

            1. ENAV is required for VOR to function.

Have you been able to replicate this issue in your end? Eg. Consistently, every time you follow these steps, the result is the same?

I could replicate the issue and took a video.
So basically, at one point in the video the autopilot starts following the CRS bug (not the HDG bug as previously mentioned)
Edit : I noticed that I enabled ENAV after enabling AP MASTER; but I'm pretty sure the same issue happens when I enable ENAV before AP MASTER
Edit2 : Yes I will get a speeding ticket, 280kts is way too fast for that altitude ;)

Here's the video (youtube is still processing the HD version, wait a few minutes)

                  1. Thanks for the video!

I'll investigate the issue and get back to you once I've figured it out.

I don't see a bug here. The aircraft flies the VOR just as expected, and the behaviour is consistent with any stock aircraft.

The CRS bug does indeed affect the direction of the aircraft, as expected, since that is the desired course the aircraft will fly the VOR at. Towards the end of your video, you'll see the aircraft beautifully flying that VOR away from the station at the selected course - just as expected!

Keep in mind that flying a VOR (NAV1) and flying a VOR as a waypoint are two very different things. It may just be a bit of a confusion there - but hey, I won't blame you for that, It's been a while since I've used VORs too.
