This aircraft is being developed based on the systems of the real-life counterpart. No support for garmin avionics are planned.
It is stated on the product description that at this time, flight planning is only possible via the WorldMap. Flight planning through the CDU is in development and well advanced, but this is an extremely complex system and requires extensive testing and bugfixing.

could you not install the standard fmc from msfs 2020 for the transition, who knows how long the development will take.
Kind regards

You can use the PMS50 GTN750 module in popup or popout mode. It works flawlessly with the Osprey autopilot functions, and makes it easy to set COM and NAV radio frequencies, have Navigraph chart integration, etc.

Can you explain how are you using it with the Osprey? May be a good solution to integrate in the meantime

I don't do anything special, just using the PMS50 (https://pms50.com/msfs/) with the standard features. You can select the PMS50 popup from the MSFS toolbar. It can be shown as a popup (in game) or popout (seperate window). I have a small 12" touchscreen monitor on order so I can actually move it to a separate touch screen, but I have been using it in-game as a popup just fine too.
I just enter my flight plan in the GTN as normal including IFR departure, arrival and approach procedures. The GTN has a CDI button for GPS or VLOC modes that syncs with the Osprey ENAV (nav source) to use either VOR or GPS autopilot tracking. I fly full IFR departure, arrival and approach procedures with the autopilot active, even through transition of the nacelles, you just need to be gentle with how quickly you transition and making sure you adjust the power to maintain a steady power/pitch. I can fly an ILS approach down to minimums with the autopilot active (full LNAV and VNAV) including nacelle transition all the way to 70 degrees and around 80-90 kias. Once I have established visual, I kick off the autopilot and do final final approach manually of course.
Everything just works the way it does with any other aircraft. The only limitation is that for anything other than ILS/TACAN (any RNAV procedures) you need to do VNAV manually. You can toggle to heading mode, adjust the GTN flight plan, activate a direct-to on the GTN and then re-activate WYPT capture (nav hold) on the autopilot and will go back to flying the GTN flight plan just fine. I fly a lot on Vatsim and the ability to adjust the flight plan including setting departure, arrival and approach procedures in-flight is a necessity.

For anyone wanting to use the Garmin GTN750, the CDI button support for toggling between GPS and VLOC was broken in Release v1.2.x when support for TACAN was added. If you want the best integration with the GTN750 stick with Release v1.1.4.
